CashCrate gives all members an opportunity to take two or more paid surveys every 24 hours. The payout averages between $.80 to $1.00 per survey. I tried a few of these daily free online surveys but never was able to qualify but I haven’t really given it a chance. The key to getting the most out of these surveys is being able to qualify for them. The good thing is CashCrate allows you to try different surveys and you can keep trying until you do qualify.
Getting daily cash for surveys is a good way to help members get the payout they are striving for. Some of these surveys are actually quite simple to fill out and may only take about 5 minutes to finish. If you complete two $.80 daily surveys a day, you can make $50 per month!
I left work early yesterday. On the train, there were only about six people in my car. During the trip, a man walked into the car and placed a business card with a pen clipped to it on the seat adjacent to each passenger. Without saying a word, the man then left the car and went back to where he came from.
This gave everyone, including me, an opportunity to read the message on the business card. The message said that the man was deaf and was asking for money. As a token of his appreciation he was offering this free pen.
Minutes later, he came back and picked up his items from the individuals who didn’t donate. The man then collected from those who did give him money. Out of the six people in the car two passengers gave him some money. One person decided to keep his pen. This was a pretty good conversion for the man.
I’m not condoning for anyone to fake a handicap such as being deaf but just wanted to share this example as a reminder to think ‘outside the box’.
Launching an offline advertising campaign with flyers and/or business cards can be one of the best money making ideas for earning active US referrals. You can promote by posting flyers on public bulletin boards, on cars in parking lots, or handing out business cards at colleges. There’s not a whole lot of competition out there because it’s not online!
On the sidebar to the right (Recently Completed Offers) , I have added a list of the paid surveys that I have recently completed. The cool thing about this list of completed offers is that it will automatically update when my offers have been approved at CashCrate. I created this with Dapper’s Dapp Factory. You can create a feed in several different formats such as XML, RSS feed, Google Gadgets. The ‘Dapp’ that I created is in HTML format.
As you can see, you can earn a dollar a day and get paid for surveys by doing about four offers a day. Each completed offer pays you about .25 cents on average. It doesn’t take too long to complete an offer. If you spend about 15 minutes to earn a dollar a day you can end up with about 30 dollars a month.

There was a good post in the forums about ways to maximize your profits with CashCrate and thought it was something worth sharing:
1. Find blogs and forums about making money on the internet. Look for individuals who are looking to earn money from home. Add your referral banner in your signature.
2. Visit Yahoo Answers and answer questions for people who want to find ways to make money at home. Promote CashCrate as an option for them to look into. Read other answers that were already posted. If someone else is posting CashCrate don’t post your link. This will lessen the chance of you getting flagged by Yahoo Answers.
Include your blog link instead of your referral link. Make sure your answer fits the question.
The key is to look for people asking for your help and helping them.
3. When you see referrals signing up make sure to message them and ask them if they have any questions or need assistance. It’s easy for individuals to lose interest but if you send messages regularly you should be able to spike their interest to keep participating.
The secret to making money on the internet with CashCrate is not by doing just free online surveys. Of course, you can certainly earn a good amount of residual income by doing surveys but referring others is big step in the right direction.
Find other types of forums to post on. Try to do something creative that others are not doing. See if you can find an untapped market.
A lot of successful referrers put a lot of time into finding places to post, and they continue to look for new places and keep trying different methods.
Look into your interests. What do you enjoy doing that is not related to CashCrate? Are you interested in golf, baseball, video games?
I was reading the CashCrate forums and noticed some members with countdown tickers in their signature. These tickers display a goal in a slider type format. One example is a members goal to reach 50 referrals. The ticker shows a slider between 0 and 50 and then shows the current status which might be 15 referrals. Another example might be to show your goal of earning money online. You might have a goal of making 100 dollars by the end of the month.
Using tickers (or widgets) can help in building backlinks for your blog! At the end of the widget code you can add a link back to your blog or website with something like “earn cash online” as your anchor text.
I just recently created my first widget. You may have noticed the Crush my Link! widget I have in my sidebar on the right. This widget allows you to create tiny URLs so it’s easier to post on Twitter, for instance.
You can create widgets for just about anything such as customized RSS feeds from your blog. These widgets can also be placed into Facebook profiles, Myspace pages, etc.
I hope to add more widgets in the future. Some popular websites have entire pages specifically for their widget collection.
1. Write a blog. 2. Add your referral link to your signature on all forums with a brief explanation. 3. Find chat rooms and groups that have the sole purpose of finding “ways to make money” 4. Post your link at the end of your YouTube videos. 5. Send out flyers in a mailing list (ex.: http://www.usdatafax.com/) 6. Advertise on online games. 7. Add your referral link or website to a filename of an mp3, video, or program and share it over a file-sharing network like Bear Share or a torrent program. 8. Get a tattoo with your referral link on it 9. Have a friend or network digg your site/blog to digg, stumble, etc 10. On your banner/images, use the “alt tag” with either your webpage/blog or “keyword”. Search engines can index/spider images, so adding the “alt tag” helps “define” the image. 11. Sign up for a virtual business card. www.entrecard.com and list your blog under the money making opportunities forum. Once you sign up, visit other earn cash online blogs and drop your card on their site. 12. Put up a flyer that has your referral link with tear off tabs on store bulletin boards. 13. Have a pilot write your referral link in the sky with his plane. 14. Write articles. 15. Put an E-book up for auction on Ebay with your blog or other website info in it.
Some people sign up with CashCrate, look around, and decide it’s not for them. There are a lot of people who decide not to start doing cash for surveys because they feel the payouts are too low. People log on and see that most offers are worth less than $1 and decide this is not worth the effort.
Then there are people who sign up, but don’t want to put in their personal information into the offers, so they leave before doing anything. There are those who check a few of the offers, see that they are those outrageous “GET PAID FOR SURVEYS AND GET AN INSTANT $1000!!!” offers, roll their eyes and leave. And finally, there are those people who never figure out how to do offers (they don’t do them all the way through, for example), can’t get any to confirm, and leave because they aren’t making money on the internet as expected. Keep plugging away at it and will get easier as you go. Set your daily personal goal be $1, $2, $5 or more. Get your offers done then focus on your referrals. After I signed up with CashCrate I did a few offers but was a bit confused by the whole experience. The surveys seemed to be never-ending and a bit misleading. Below is a description of CashCrate’s instructions for an offer:
Register with valid information and complete the survey. Click at least two offers on the “Final Steps” page.
The first time I tried an offer I filled out my information on the first page and clicked submit and then received a pop-up window saying “Final Steps”. So, I clicked two offers and then submitted my claim to CashCrate that I have done an offer. Luckily, I learned that this was not the correct way to do an offer. I highly recommend watching some of the available YouTube videos found on the internet that explain how to do offers. I made one of these videos below. Please take a look.
